1) Definitions

- “Service”: plain-English analysis of clauses/costs/exclusions from documents you upload

- “Report”: the written output we deliver

- “Successful Upload”: readable file submission + successful payment (if paid)

- “User”: any person using the website/service

 

2) Scope of Service

We explain what your document states and highlight commonly missed clauses, exclusions, fees, timelines, and risks.

We do not:

- Negotiate with lenders/insurers

- Provide legal representation

- Provide personalised financial/insurance advice

- Guarantee outcomes (savings, approvals, claims)

 

3) User eligibility (18+)

You confirm you are 18 years or older.

 

4) User responsibilities and warranties

You agree that:

- You own the documents or have lawful authority/consent to upload them

- You will not upload illegal content or content that violates others’ rights

- You will provide complete/legible pages needed for analysis

- You will redact/mask PAN/Aadhaar and other sensitive identifiers where feasible

 

5) Pricing, taxes, and payment

Fees are shown at checkout/services page. GST or other taxes apply as required.

Payments are processed via a third-party gateway; we do not store full card details.

 

6) Delivery timeline

Target timeline: 24 hours from Successful Upload, excluding force majeure events (outages, vendor downtime, events beyond control).

 

7) Refunds and cancellations

Refunds/cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy (linked below) and form part of these Terms.

 

8) Intellectual property

- Website content, templates, formats, and methodology are owned by PolicyTruth (or its licensors).

- You own your underlying documents.

- You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the Report for your own purposes.

You may not resell, publish, or commercially exploit Reports without written permission.

 

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

- Total liability is capped at the fee you paid for the specific Report giving rise to the claim.

- We are not liable for decisions you make based on the Report.

 

10) Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless PolicyTruth for claims arising from unlawful uploads, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

 

11) Suspension/termination

We may suspend access or refuse service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or misused the platform.

 

12) Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update Terms. The “Last Updated” date shows the latest version.

15) No Guarantee of Completeness. While we use best efforts to identify fees, exclusions, lock-ins, and key clauses, we do not warrant that the Report will identify every issue or interpretation risk in your document. The Service is provided “as is” based on the document you upload.
